A dear friend brought by a wonderful hot supper for me and my family today on my birthday since I had the flu.
As she was leaving I turned to my two daughters and said, "I can't believe she did all this for me. Why would she have went to all this trouble?"
Maisi age 5 replied, "I know why, Mama. I know why. She knows it's your birthday and you are sick. She loves you and wants to be your friend!"
